The Education Committee develops educational and training programs in the form of seminars, lectures, and workshops in order to increase the business knowledge of the members.
The Governance Committee is responsible for monitoring all matters involving corporate governance, overseeing compliance with ethical standards, and making recommendations to the full board for action in governance matters, financial accountability and transparency.
The primary role of the Membership/Ambassadors Committee is to build and maintain the membership of IHCC. The committee is responsible in creating the networking opportunities, such as Café con Nosotros, Power-Hour, Mixers, Ribbon Cuttings, and other events throughout the year.
The Marketing/PR Committee oversees the advertising and marketing plan, and the publications of the Chamber, including blast e-mails, press releases, media, and digital communication.
The Events/Fundraiser/Community Outreach Committee is responsible for planning and promoting IHCC events, including community outreach and social responsibility.
The Government Affairs Committee review legislation that impacts businesses and dedicates itself to working with elected officials at the federal, state, county, and local levels to increase the opportunities for success of IHCC members.
The Legislative Committee monitors, evaluates, reports, and makes recommendations concerning proposed local, regional, and national legislation which could have an impact upon the business community represented by IHCC.
The Government Procurement Committee identifies major procurement programs and initiatives at the local, state, and federal governments.
