November’s Power Hour will feature “Websites 101”

Websites 101 is a presentation that will cover seven topics:
-Questions you should ask yourself before getting a website
-The necessary components for a website
-The difference between static vs. dynamic websites
-How to create a free website
-A demonstration of two dynamic website options Wix and WordPress
-The recommended platforms for selling merchandise online and taking online restaurant orders
-Criteria on how to choose a web developer
About the presenter: Javier Lona is a freelance Web Developer. He volunteers at the Arlington Public Library as their computer instructor, where he teaches the community the skills necessary for creating a website. He specializes on setting up home-based and small businesses which do not have an online presence with a modern and cost-effective website.
There will also be a small presentation given by Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses on how you can sign up your small business for free classes!
