The primary role of the Membership/Ambassador Committee is to build and maintain the membership of the IHCC. The committee is responsible for creating the networking opportunities, such as Café con Nosotros, Power-Hour, Mixers, Ribbon Cuttings, and other events throughout the year. The Ambassadors are the ‘welcome wagon’ of the chamber.
The Marketing/PR Committee oversees the advertising and marketing plan, and the publications of the Chamber, including blast e-mails, press releases, media, and digital communication.
The Government Affairs Committee reviews legislation that impacts businesses and dedicates itself to working with elected officials at the federal, state, county, and local levels to increase the opportunities for the success of IHCC members.
The Legislative Committee monitors, evaluates, reports, and makes recommendations concerning proposed local, regional, and national legislation which could have an impact upon the business community represented by the IHCC.
